Backing up your website

The NetHost Control Panel includes an easy-to-use backup facility which allows backups to be generated of any mySQL Databases, email and account settings, and your files and folders.

The main backup of your files and folders is called a Home Backup.

To make a Home Backup firstly login to the NetHost Control Panel.

Step One
Select the "Backups" icon from the NetHost Control Panel main menu.

Step Two
Select the "Download a backup of you Files and Folders" link.

Step Three
A File Download popup will appear, select the "Save" button and choose a location to save the backup file to, remember where you have chosen to save the file!

 

Your file will download and be safely stored on your computer.
