Changing your SMTP server settings

Xtra have advised that they plan to block all outbound email on port 25 by the end of April 2006. If you use an email address associated with your NetHost hosting account (i.e. you@yourdomain.co.nz) and use Xtra as your ISP you will need to make a simple change to your email account settings to ensure your email continues to be delivered correctly.

The fix is to change your Outgoing Email Server (SMTP) from:

mail.yourdomain.co.nz to smtp.xtra.co.nz
